Flying to Myrtle Beach - Compare Airfares

The Myrtle Beach International Airport is located off Highway U.S. 17, It can be reached from U.S. 17 Bypass or 17 Business. You will be able to rent a car from most major car rental companies, take a taxi, limo or shuttle to your destination. We definitely suggest a car rental as the Grand Stran area stretches for 60 miles and that's not counting the distance to Pawleys Island and other areas on the South End.

Take into consideration that not only is Myrtle Beach a popular golfing destination, it is also a hot (literally and figuratively) summer vacation destination. US AIR and DELTA provide most of the service to Myrtle Beach. They can get you to Myrtle Beach from most places in the USA and Europe. US AIR connections are via Charlotte. DELTA connections are through Atlanta. Book your trip early!  3 - 6 months in advance is not too soon! The most popular flights to Myrtle Beach are Friday mornings and Sunday afternoons, the next most popular are Thursday and Monday evenings. You have to look sharp to find cheap air flights to Myrtle Beach.

The Airlines that fly into Myrtle Beach are as follows: Allegiant, Delta/ASA/COMair, Spirit, United & U.S. Airways...and for close-by destinations try Air Tran and ASA/Delta/Conair flying into Charleston International Airport and for flights into Wilmington International Airport you will find Allegiant, Delta and U.S. Airways as major carriers.

Take a look at our Compare Airfares page, where you will find prices that compare with any nationally advertised site. Also on that page you'll be able to check flights into other nearby airports, such as Charleston or Florence SC, or Wilmington, NC. to see if you can get a better deal, even if the rates are very similar, you might have a better chance at your dates. If you decide to play golf at the south end of Myrtle Beach, Charleston is just about 1 1/2 hours drive up 17 - and usually very light traffic. If you've chosen golf courses on the north end of the beach, Wilmington is also about 1 1/2 hours drive away. The same for Florence - if you've picked courses in Myrtle Beach proper. So there are solutions to the sell-out seats for Myrtle Beach.
